The Nano-Balls are specially designed to maximize surface area in a tiny form factor that is suitable for smaller tanks to magnify biological filtration. The unique design allows each Nano-Ball to pack itself in the most compact form in the least amount of space further increasing surface area to grow large amounts of beneficial bacteria. These beneficial bacteria cling on and colonize each Nano-Ball removing harmful ammonia and nitrites and optimizing water quality for tank inhabitants.
